This is an expression of receiving a planned moment such as getting together with friends, going to a movie, or any scheduled event.
However, if you’re an uber-optimist like me, it also means you’re looking forward to the unplanned events that may display the potential in people and life around the corner.
I also find it an appropriate way to sign off on letters & emails, rather than the usual sincerely or regards.
